Hi Dan,
No sorry, I don't know when this change happend. I also don't know if you can
detect it somehow, I never tried that. I have my information from the link I
wrote in my first email...
I noticed that If you look at the output of "fis list" of redboot you can see
the different partition sizes too... I suppose that this partition size is
somehow written in a partition table inside the redboot partition. Therefore it
should be posible to "detect" which partition table has to be applied...
