I seem to be having the same problem with a USB flash driver from the TS-7250
dev kit. My board was purchased well before my devKit (I included boot output
identifying versions at the end). Following the instructions in the "Linux for
ARM on TS 72XX User's Guide" jul 2008, section "5.2 Flash Memory Cards/ USB
Flash Drives", I do the following.
1. Plug in Dev Kit provided Flash Drive.
2. Power on System.
3. Enter loadUSBModules.sh
4. Enter loadUSB.sh
During the last part of excution I get:
Could not load host key: /etc/ssh
/ssh_host_dsa_key
Disabling protocol version 2. Could not load host
key sshd: no hostkeys available
--exiting.
Starting NFS common utilities:
statd.
Starting periodic command scheduler:
cron.
Starting web server: apache-ssl
failed
Press enter for
maintenance (or type Control-D to continue):
5. At this point I enter CTRL-D.
After typing "uname -r" I get.
$ uname -r
2.4.26-ts11
The initial portion of my boot is as follows:
