[ts-7000] Cannot load the drivers for TS-CAN1 on TS-7350 board

Has anyone had this problem before?

I was following the manual and when I try to load the driver with this command:
insmod -f lincan.o hw=tscan1
I get this error:
insmod: error inserting 'lincan.o': -1 Invalid module format

I have googled this and found that kernel 2.6 may use *.ko drivers and the 
safest way to get drivers is to recompile them on the machine itself. I tried 
to do that and got a whole new set of problems. I am just wondering if anyone 
has experienced similar problems with TS-CAN1

I currently have this kernel: 2.6.21-ts
