Can you check to be sure the VMSPLIT did not accidentally change?  I saw that 
once, probably my mistake.

If you build without SPARSEMEM, does it still OOPS on "cat /proc/pagetypeinfo"?

Well, I can handle out-of-kernel patches, but these would be nice to get in:

0005-ep93xx_cpuinfo.patch: useful, non-intrusive.  Needs some #defines included 
in the base patch.

0008-ep93xx_eth.patch: should go in, I know it fixed problems for people on 
this list.  

0002-ts72xx_base.patch: UART fixes should go in; CR1_NFBIT would be nice

As I wrote before, I will try to generate an HRT patch for you to include.
