The following error appear.

VFS: Cannot open root device “hda1″ or unknown-block(2,0)

Please append a correct “root=” boot option; here are the available partitions:

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block

as I mentioned before, this problem is related only to the linux-2.6.21-ts and 2.6.x.

I have probe into Linux kernel source, and I think that some patch may be needed in order that kernel is able to work properly.
