Hi ,
I am trying to compile gnuplot natively , booting a 7250 over nfs
using a TS debian image.
part of the ./configure tool tests for compiler output by trying to
create a temporary file in /tmp . It fails and drops out.
If I pull the temp file name from config.log I can touch it and the
test now continues.
:gnuplot-cvs# ls -ail /tmp

I dont see why it can't make the test file.
configure:2855: checking for suffix of executables
configure:2862: gcc -o conftest -mcpu=arm9 -Wall conftest.c >&5
/tmp/ccKZ0RH3.o: file not recognized: File format not recognized
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
maybe I'm misreading this, automake is cryptic as hell.
Any ideas?
TIA.
