This is good news. I too managed to get the SD card working without
DMA on 2.6.25 but abandoned the stuff after banging my head against
the wall for some time.

I think that a prerequisite to sharing our effort is that we have the
same codebase (ie. same remote git repository or we publish each
others git repo so that we can pull from each other). Irc channel
could also enhance communication.

I've been a lurker on this list for some time now. There has been two
or three separate attempts to get upstream kernel running on ts
hardware. The latest by Matthieu Crapet just rocks. There has been
even more (separate) attempts by different people at getting SD card
running. 

If we all used git I could easily pull up your SD card changes and
start debugging.

I don't like the gumstix way either. In time their fork will get
really out of sync with the latest dev.

+1. However, I do feel that oe devel isn't necessary (there isn't that
much magic involved in getting angstrom to run on ts hardware to merit
a new mailing list). I think we can rely on the existing oe mailing
list for that.
