I'm making a robotic arm controller with the TS7260 as the brains of
the controller. The problem comes when I try to put pins 5 and 6 on
the LCD header to logic high. When the code sets the pins to high,
the entire program hangs.

Everything hangs when lines 213, 223, and 230 of ports.h are executed.

The entire source code and a few input files for the project are
available at: http://students.uwf.edu/jrc27/V0.3.4.zip

when the menu prompts you to select a file, select "text4.rhino" as
this is the only one that has valid data in it.

This is for my Senior Design project, and I just need a little help to
pin-point the problem.

The 7260 is the standard XDIOS model, thus it doesn't contain the SD
card or other options. The sensors for the arm's encoders and home
switchs are on the DIO1 and DIO2 headers. Pins 5 and 6 are the motor
driver select lines to control the DC motors. The code has one or two
if statements commented out to allow for full testing of the functions.
