Hi,
Thanks for the help. I tried booting into the busybox shell by providing that as my init instead of /linuxrc and then create devices. However, insmod doesnt seem to work (it says it isnt found) when I tried loading the bootloader.o. I remember providing module support on the kernel config. Any suggestions on this?
thanks,
Pradip

Hello,

Have you made sure you have devices in the /dev directory?

That message seems pretty familiar (unable to open an initial
console). It means there is no /dev/console device.

Try using mknod to make it, then try booting the kernel.

utility to boot from this kernel? If so, could you tell me the kernel
command line you used? Are you facing a problem with loading the
correct driver for the sdcard? Well, I got the tssdcard.ko driver from
the website which is probably the one for the 2.6.21 kernel. However,
I am still not being able to boot to it. I am also trying to use the
filesystem from the sd card and not nfs.
