Thanks Michael.
Here is what I have been trying to do. I need to run ipv6 on the TS-7400.

1. I tried compiling it as a module and transferring it and then doing an insmod but that didnt work.

2. I tried having a kernel zImage with IPv6 compiled into it and tried using bootload to boot it. But somehow its not finding the correct root for the kernel. The cmdline I used is as specified in my previous email. I tried a few other workarounds to the root cmdline value but without success.
So, pertaining to this problem, do you know what steps I need to follow to actually make the TS7400 boot from a kernel I compiled. Is there an initrd file which I can use for the 2.6.21 kernel or any of the 2.6 ones?

3. I am trying having debian with a 2.6 kernel installed on the SD card. So, I presume I need to flash (using dd)  the file system onto sdb3, the kernel image onto  sdb1, and an initrd onto sdb2. If I use tsbootrom-update to make it boot from SD, then would this work?
Please provide your suggestions and any solutions to the problem that I am trying to solve, which is ultimately getting ipv6 running on the TS7400.
thanks,
Pradip

The second partition contains the initial ramdisk (initrd) image.

Not sure what to tell you here as it's been a while since I have used
bootload. You may have a problem with your command line arguments, or
with the kernel and/or initial ramdisk you are specifying maybe?
