First, keep in mind that the COM3 header actually supports 2 com ports (as does the COM1, DB9 and the COM2 header) To use the COM3 header, standard TX/RX pins, you use: /dev/ttts4 (note the lower case "s") To use the 2nd RS232 on header "COM3" use /dev/ttts5, and use pins 7(tx) and 8(rx) (instead of 3/2) Eric On Wed, Aug 13, 2008 at 10:54 AM, vigu <> wrote:
