I have a Hokuyo ladar. When I plug this usb device into my fedora pc,
it properly detects the device and creates a /dev/ttyACM0 device.
dmesg output:

usb 3-2: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 3
usb 3-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
cdc_acm 3-2:1.0: ttyACM0: USB ACM device

When I plug this device into the ts-7800, it either doesnt have the
cdc_acm driver, or it doesnt not properly detect the device. dmesg
output:

usb 1-1.2: new full speed USB device using mv5182_ehci and address 6
usb 1-1.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

have any of you loaded the ACM driver on the ts-7800? am I
fundamentally missing something? This seems like too simple of a
driver to be excluded from the distribution.

Thanks,

denny
