Subject: | [ts-7000] TS-7800 Disk Space Free? |

I'm almost too embarrassed to ask this, but... How does one determine the amount of disk space used/free on a TS-7800? On all of the linux systems I've used before, running "df -h" displayed the used/free space on all of the disk drives currently mounted. On my TS-7800, all I get is: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on tmpfs 63M 0 63M 0% /dev/shm tmpfs 10M 12K 10M 1% /dev If I try "df -h -a" I get this instead: Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on proc 0 0 0 - /proc sysfs 0 0 0 - /sys devpts 0 0 0 - /dev/pts tmpfs 63M 0 63M 0% /dev/shm usbfs 0 0 0 &nbs p ; - /proc/bus/usb tmpfs 10M 12K 10M 1% /dev Note the conspicuous lack of anything mounted at '/' -- where's the root of the file system? Is there a special tool to see how much space is free? Also, I know that the flash drive is bigger than 64M (I believe it is 512MB) because "du -h --max-depth=1 /" reports a total of 357M being used. I'm asking about this because my boss wants me to "just rebuild the kernel with CONFIG_HZ=1000" (as Eddie put it last month), but the 7800 is the only build environment I have, and I don't know if the kernel sources (and build output) are all going to fit on the flash drive. I think not, but I wanted to check, and something is preventing that. Of course, even if it will fit, I'm not positive how to ensure that I'm building the kernel e x actly like Technologic did, except for the one change I need to make, but that's a question for another day. __._,_.___
