[ts-7000] Wlan0 doesn't go up at startup

Hi all,

I have configured a wireless usb dongle for ts7800 for my network,
modifying /etc/network/interfaces file.
The only problem is that to start it I need, after logging in, to stop
and restart the wlan0 interface, typing ifdown wlan0 and ifup wlan0.

It would seem that at boot, in spite of it has been configured in the
interfaces file, the encryption key isn't set and to set it I need to
stop and restart the wlan0 interface.
In fact the iwconfig command gives:
wlan0     RT73 WLAN  ESSID:"AermaticaNet"
          Mode:Managed  Frequency=2.412 GHz  Bit Rate=54 Mb/s
          RTS thr:off   Fragment thr:off
          Encryption key:off
          Link Quality:141/100  Signal level:1 dBm  Noise level:0 dBm
          Rx invalid nwid:0  Rx invalid crypt:0  Rx invalid frag:0

Moreover, this is an error message at boot:

Configuring network interfaces...FATAL: Module p80211 not found.
Failed to load p80211.o.
run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/linux-wlan-ng-pre-up exited with
return code 1
done.

and this is my interfaces file:
auto wlan0
iface wlan0  inet static
        address 192.168.1.169
        network 192.168.1.0
        netmask 255.255.255.0
        broadcast 192.168.1.255
        gateway 192.168.1.1
        pre-up ifconfig wlan0 up
        pre-up iwconfig wlan0 essid "AermaticaNet"
        pre-up iwconfig wlan0 key  "MY_KEY"
