Hi,

I wanted to thank everyone for helping me out the last time I posted.
I have defiantly progressed from that stage, but I might ask a simple
(or dumb) question, but please bare with me because I am still getting
used to this technology.

All right, I connected the LCD to the LCD port on the TS-7260. I got
it to work and transmit data! (Yay). I also got the TS-DIO24 connected
to a different series of LEDS and push buttons, attached to the PC/104
expansion board on the TS-7260. I got it to transmit and receive data.

Now, I am trying to attach another LCD onto the COM2 port (through an
RS232 - needs to be at 8N1 data stream at 19200 baud) on the TS. I
have tried numerous things to send data across, but I am not really
seeing the output that I want. ( I am getting a random letter though.)

Thus, I was wondering if I had to initialize the COM2 port in anyway,
and how I go about doing that.
Also, if anyone can enlighten me on how to send commands through the
RS232 port to the LCD screen, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
-PB
