I successfully have X running locally on a TS7KV video board attached
to my TS-7800, using a USB keyboard and mouse.
Now I want to run X-Win32 on my PC and connect to the 7800. The 7800
is on the network, has a unique global IP address, and I can ssh into
it. From the keyboard I do an "xhost +". But when I try to connect
from X-Win32 it doesn't work.
The PC has a unique global IP address and is not behind a firewall or
NAT box. I set up X-Win32 the same way I did for talking to other
Linux systems: use ssh to make the connection, then run
"/usr/bin/xterm -ls". The connection goes all the way through
exchanging SSH2 keys and setting up the X11 tunnel. But when it tries
to run xterm I get the error "channel 0: Channel::shutdownWrite:
close() failed for wfd: Unknown error. Program exited normally."
Has anyone been able to run X remotely to a 7800?
Thanks,
Mike
