keyboards work fine, you just have not primed your console to use the
keyboard as an input device for the TTY. Unless you plan on hooking up a
telewriter to the serial port I'm struggling to see why you would want a USB
keyboard attached to it; thats what the serial port is there for.
Maybe if you could explain what problem is solved by strapping a full sized
keyboard to your ts7800 we might be able to help.
