Yes I am using DHCP on a TS-7800 via dhclient. Do you have your
interfaces file set up correctly and the package enabled via init?

Here is my /etc/network/interfaces:

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

allow-hotplug eth0
Iface etho0 inet dhcp

auto eth0
