Hi,
I am new to TS and I have come across a couple barriers. Fist I will
give you my setup.
I am running Ubuntu 7.10 on a linux box for development, right now I
have it connected to the TS-7400 to the serial port via TS-9441. I am
also running Debian. The TS-7400 is connected to my LAN, and i get
ping responses so I believe I have eht0 configured correctly.
I will need to change my console interface away from the TS-9441, as I
wont have access to IO. For that I was thinking of using ssh, but am
unable to connect. I get a connection refused error. I suspect that
there is a configuration issue on the TS-7400, please tell me what I
have to do to enable ssh connections.
I am also unable to use ftp for file transfers, I can connect alright,
but am unable to log in as root, regardless of if I am logged in
through the console... Again I suspect a configuration issue, please
tell me what I have to do to enable this.
Thanks,
David Glen
