The handy old EP9301 user's manual on the Cirrus site has been replaced
by an all-in-one EP93xx user's manual.

As far as I know, mtdblock1 is ts-bootrom, mtdblock2 is for linux and
mtdblock3 is for redboot, so it sounds like you've messed up your
bootrom
without touching linux.
I've heard mention of a serial flash mode supported by the ep9302 cpu,
but
you'll have to do your own research for that one.
Grab the ep9301 datasheet from cirrus' site - the ep9302 is so similar
that they didn't bother releasing a second full size datasheet for it.
