Hi all,

I'm booting Debian from on-board NAND flash and use SD card as solid
state storage.

When I load the tssdcard.ko module to use the SD card massive slowdown
of system clock follows.

The problem is evidently in the tssdcard module. There is no source
code available as I see (maybe because the security issue).

In my case (and maybe in other cases as well) is the security feature
of SD card not needed.

My suggestion:
separate the plain access to SD card from the security feature
open the source for the plain access
security feature as option (for money?)

I don't know the details of SD card wiring in the SBC (FPGA etc.). It
could be difficult to separate the code for plane access.

But IMHO the open access to SD card will bring lots of advantages in
the future.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Kind Regards
Jiri
