Thanks, Jim. I knew there was probably a call that would get me the data. I 
know about stat. For some reason I didn't think to do 'man -k stat' or else I 
would have found it and statvfs. I went with statvfs since the man pages 
indicate that statfs is considered deprecated in an LSB compliant system.
