Hi All,
I have odd situation occurring with my process monitoring system -
consisting of two TS-7300 systems communicating via Ethernet. Each
system can monitor four servo drive axis, with the second four being
sent to the primary unit which has a touch monitor.
For the last three days I've come in and found that the
communications had failed during the night - but when I looked at the
error log on the primary system I found that the problem (which
causes trace data errors prior the my communications falling over)
occurred at 6:19.39AM (1/24), 6:19.49AM (1/25), 6:19.50AM (1/26)!
Checking the date on the secondary unit I found it to be running 3:10
fast (as the clock had never needed to be set), which would result in
the the cause occuring at either 6:20ish on the primary unit or
11:30AM on the secondary unit.
If I restarted the secondary unit without touching the primary
system, the communications would latch in and the system would run
cleanly without corrupted traces - leaving me to think that the
secondary system (which was the only one currently sampling) is busy
while the communications/sampling should be taking place.
I looked in CRONTAB and there were no scheduled operations...
Any help would be appreciated in finding the source.
Regards,
PJE
