Never mind about the compiling problem i hard I figured it out.  The
Eclipse IDE is very picky about how your files are named unlike
Borland.  The problem was caused because my main file was a .c file
and not a .cpp file so the IDE compiled it using the c compiler
instead of the cpp compiler.
