Hi all,

I'm currently having a look at boards that I could use for video
overlay. Currently I have been using OSd-232 board from Intuitive
Circuits:
http://www.icircuits.com/prod_osd232.html

Its a very simple board - video in, video + overlay out, rs232 port
that controls text displayed as overlay.

Ive also looked at the BOB3 from decadenet
(http://www.decadenet.com/bob3/bob3.html) but it is a basically a text
overlay as well.

I have started looking at other options that can perhaps do a little
more than just basic text overlay.
picture in picture would be good, gfx overlay rather just text? I dont
think I need to do any real image processing, just provide basicish
overlay information.

I have seen the VMIX104 (http://www.ampltd.com/prod/vmix104.html) and
am considering using it on a ts8700 board perhaps?
Anyone tried this already, or can think of other video overlay boards
that I can look at.
Ones that have been used before and known to work would be good :)
