For kernel modules (or applications for that matter) a good solution
is to share out the development directory on your host machine using
NFS, and mount it on the ARM board. Then compile the module on the
host, and 'insmod' the module on the board from the NFS share.

It's also helpful to automount the share on the ARM board if the
module is crashing a lot. Makes the reboot and setup go quicker.
