Hello

I am facing some strange problems with PPP daemon on the TS7200.
I am connecting to a CDMA network using a CDMA modem. The PPP link
gets established but holds only for a short while (i.e. around
anywhere from 20 to 200 secs.). It keeps getting disconnected with
the message 'Modem Hangup'. During the time it is connected, the link
works i.e. data goes back and forth (ping is also working).

However, if I connect the same CDMA modem to my laptop which runs
Windows XP and connect using PPP (after setting up a dialup
connection), the PPP link stays connected. It doesn't break at all
unless I manually break it.

Can someone pls explain the difference?

My ppp options file on ts7200 is:

-detach
asyncmap a0000
noauth
refuse-chap
refuse-eap
noipdefault
nopcomp
nobsdcomp
nodeflate
novj
novjccomp
ipcp-accept-local
modem
persist
lock
crtscts
name ppp
debug
defaultroute

Thanks and with regards,
- Nagi
