it, but it is definitely asking for trouble. For a +5V regulated input, I
would definitely keep that within +/-10%, or even +/-5% if you can. With
too high a voltage you will wind up exceeding the spec on some of the
components on the board and risk blowing or burning something up, and with
too low a voltage you risk tripping the boards brown-out/reset circuitry.
