Hi everyone,

I just thought I'd post patch for the 2.6.22 kernel if anyone wants to
play with it. It's actually just a combination of a few previous patches
mentioned here:

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ts-7000/message/6574

but with a couple of issues sorted out.

So download the vanilla 2.6.22 kernel

ftp://kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.22.tar.bz2

Apply this patch:

http://vaiprime.visibleassets.com/~cfriedt/linux-2.6.22-ts72xx.patch

and start off with this config:

http://vaiprime.visibleassets.com/~cfriedt/config-2.6.22-ts72xx

I purposely did not change the mach-type entry for the ts72xx boards,
but feel free to do that yourself in linux/arch/arm/tools/mach-types at
line 687. The vanilla linux kernel identifies the ts72xx boards as
mach-type 673 (0x2a1) but the RedBoot installed on most of the TS boards
uses the number 355 (0x163). If you don't change that one number, then
the board will only give you an error message at boot (unless you change
the number in the RedBoot binary blob)

Have fun ;-)

~/Chris

ps: I haven't patched YAFFS into this kernel either, but it should patch
and compile cleanly for those that would like to try.
