I'm experiencing and intermittent issue when mounting a FAT32 file
system via the 7400 USB Master port.
My program mounts a USB Mass Storage Client, copies some files from
it and then umounts it.
Intermittently, I get the following error from mount:
$mount: Mounting /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc
on /mnt/slave0 failed: No such device or address
1. dmesg shows the following:
hub.c: new USB device not_pci-1, assigned address 35
WARNING: USB Mass Storage data integrity not assured
USB Mass Storage device found at 35
2. cat /proc/scsi/usb-storage-0/0 shows the following:
Host scsi0: usb-storage
Vendor: PNY Inc.
Product: PNY Mass Storage Drive
Serial Number: None
Protocol: Transparent SCSI
Transport: Bulk
GUID: 04d800090000000000000000
Attached: Yes
3. ls -al /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc shows the following:
brw------- 1 root root 8, 0 Jan 1
1970 /dev/scsi/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc
4. lsmod shows the following:

5. Rebooting the 7400 resolves the issue, at least until next time.
Anyone seen this before ? or does anyone know how to reset the Master
USB driver on the 7400 without having to reboot ?
Thanks.
