Just to check basics - you have fully pushed the CFdisk into the holder?
I've seen similar when the cfdisk was not fully inserted.

What is your actual redboot line?
And what does you /etc/fstab look like on cfdisk?
If the '/' entry in the /etc/fstab on the cfdisk is wrong then you may get
errors.
