Subject: | [ts-7000] WIFI / Ethernet Setup |

I am building an embedded application that allows the user to setup wifi or ethernet through a keypad and LCD screen. At the moment my c program calls the "iwlist wlan0 scan" command and analyses its output to get info on local SSID's. It then proceeds calling iwconfig to enter a security key etc. I don't have much experience with TS-Linux (or any linux) and my question is whether this is the most efficient way to do this. Are there functions within c to do this same task without making calls to external programs? Yahoo!
