Robin,

Maybe you can check if the code is work as it should with the terminal emulator like hyper term or something see if you get a  "AT". remember that you need to put in the return carriage else it would not work!

Subject: [ts-7000] using GSM module

I'm trying to test the GSM modem module (TS-GSM1) on COM2. Here is my
setup:

- TS-7260 running Debian from the supplied USB drive
- TS-GSM1 installed.
- on JP Jumpers J1 and J5 are ON all others are OFF (goal is COM2
communications)
- IRQ7 ON (all other IRQ off)

I'm using picocom, so I execute the following: ttyAM1 -b 9600

Which gives the response:
port is : ttyAM1

flowcontrol : none

baudrate is : 9600

parity is : none

databits are : 8

escape is : C-a

noinit is : no

noreset is : no

nolock is : no

send_cmd is : ascii_xfr -s -v -l10

receive_cmd is : rz -vv

Terminal ready

(end response)

However, "AT" and enter gives me nothing. Any ideas on how to
troubleshoot this? I would just like to get an "OK" back, I could make
it work from there. Thanks in advance.

Best,
Robinvv
