I have a TS7300 with 128M of ram and can say that python does indeed 
work.  gentoo's portage works fine on the system and that is one of the 
largest python apps out there.

On a unrelated note, as soon as someone explains the layout of the SD 
card for the ts7300, I'll be releasing a gentoo based image...
