Hi, float to integer conversion is perfectly legal in C, so this code should be correct. Maybe you should try to run your application in gdb (compile with -ggdb3 (maximal debuging information) and maybe -O0 (disable optimization, it is easier to follow code in debugger then). In gdb you could easily find exact point where SIGSEGV occured (commands line, backtrace, print). Petr -- Petr Ledvina __._,_.___
