[ts-7000] installing the debian image on a new cf card

i've just purchased a 1GB compact flash card to replace my 256MB that
came with my ts7200. i would obviously like to install the debian
image onto this and use it, but before i spend too much time banging
my head against a wall getting it going i was wondering if anyone
knows the location of a how-to or some kind of idiots guide. 

i've tried searching embeddedarm.com to find this information, because
i seem to recall it being there the last time i needed to reload the
image onto my 256MB card, but i can't seem to find this info anymore.
