You would have to supply 12v externally to the HD. Best bet if you want
to build it, not buy it, would be to take your 120vac through a
transformer to 15 or 24vac to a bridge rectifier, off that you goto a
7812 regulator, off that output you feed 12v to the HD and you feed the
input of a 7805 regulator who's output goes to the 5v on the HD and the
TS-7200. Or, you could buy a brick switching PS for a old computer
terminal at the electronics surplus store of your choice that had +12v,
-12v, and +5v for a few bucks then just ignore the -12v output.
