Ok, I know I can probably find this eventually, but can someone point me in the right direction please :) I'm trying to get a reliable timer, I've got a heart beat coming from a device attached over ethernet via UDP. I've got a counter incrementing everytime it gets a heartbeat packet. Now, I want to say once a second, check to see if that counter has been incremented, then clear it. How would I go about that?
