I had the same problem. I think they were trying to reduce the size of the libraries, and not many people use threads (though they probably should), so they did not include it. The fix is rather simple, you just need to locate that library on your development system and copy it over to the SBC. Same for the c++ libs if you use c++. You might want to strip them to reduce space. Don.
