Hi Charlie,
I'm still having trouble communicating to the TS-7250 board using
crossover CAT-5 cable to connect between my laptop and the board. What
program to you use to communicate with it? Minicom?
Secondly, I tried to communicate to the board using COM2. I've checked
the connection to the RS-232 connector to ensure the wiring is
correct. I've also changed the jumper settings to boot to COM2
(jumpers 2 and 4 are installed). I still have trouble communicating to
the board using Hyperterminal in Windows and having the settings to be
correct. I haven't bothered trying it in minicom as the source of the
problem coming from software and OS has been ruled out.
Any more suggestion as in what happened would be much appreciated. Let
me know if there's any more information you need to know.
Regards,
Stanley Lee
