Hi all,
I use a ppp connection for a internet connection using a modem(On a
TS-7250). I have a suspicion that someone on the internet is
communication with my arm-board.
So I've decided to use a firewall. As far as I know there are to
options availible. Netfiltering ip_tables and PPP filtering.
I compiled the kernel for ip_tables and ppp filtering. No problem at
all..me very happy ;-)
So far as i know i have to use iptables to edit the firewall filtering.
But i don't have any file named iptables on my board. Is there any
other method for editing the filter conditions?
Is there somewhere in the world ;-) an iptables binary for the ts-7250?
I downloaded iptables from http://www.netfilter.org/ and tried to
compile it for the arm. But that didn't work.
I changed CC KERNEL_DIR and NO_SHARED_LIBS=1.
I got the following message:
Extensions found: IPv4:recent IPv6:ah IPv6:esp IPv6:frag
IPv6:ipv6header IPv6:hb
h IPv6:dst IPv6:rt
/opt/crosstool/gcc-3.3.4-glibc-2.3.2/arm-unknown-linux-gnu/bin/arm-unknown-linux

Another filter is de ppp filter.
But i can't seem to get that working. I don't know how and where to
edit the filter. Anyone any Ideas?
Thanks in advance.
