Hi,

If you have an TS-7260 or TS-7300 with the XDIO capability you can
read a either one (7260) or two (7300) quadrature (A,B,I) channels.

Technologic systems produced a custom TS-7300 FPGA load for me that
implements a four channel quadrature input with automated triggering
and FIFO capture, to which I added an isolated interface on the FPGA
header. This allows me to caputure the speed/position of four servo
motors simultaneously.

Another option - if you don't have one of the above cards - would be
to add a quadrature decoder IC via one of the expansion busses.

I've not looked at the base TS-7200 interface to see if the core CPU
has any capture capability as there would have been insufficient
channels for my application.

Regards,

PJE
