Hmm... this does trigger something that ! I haven' t bothered to look into yet... when I tar a big directory local to my ts-7400 to an NFS mounted volume I see a lot of this in dmesg output:

nfs: server 192.168.1.10 not responding, still trying

nfs: server 192.168.1.10 OK

All in all it feels quite slow, haven't measured it though.

If this is pertaining to my SD card or some network setting on the ts-7400, some scary stuff on the NFS server (desktop debian linux 2.6.x) or a combination thereof, I don't know yet.
