If your Com1 is working with your current port settings make sure com2
is enabled in /etc/inittab and is set to the same values

For my TS-7250 i have :
-------------------------------------------------------
T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyAM0 115200 vt100
T1:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyAM1 115200 vt100
-------------------------------------------------------
in my /etc/inittab

This means that after powerup the init process starts looking for
logins from both serial ports.

If you make changes to inittab and wants to try them right away you
kan kill the init-process with the HUP signal. that will cause it to
reread it's settings.
Try for example "kill -s HUP 1" (1 is usually the init-process number)

Good Luck
