Hello All,
I have a TS-7250 board with a ARM920t processor core. I am writing a
device driver to use the GPIO pins as interrupts. I setup a cross-
tool environment on a 2.6.x version of Linux and compiled the TS-
Linux-ts-11 source. I am able to compile Andy's GPS_PPS Device Driver
implementation located in the "File" section on this forum.
I'm trying to write my own device driver module, but I am having
trouble inserting my module. I am able to compile my code with no
issues, and am able to insert a module that just prints to the screen
(using Andy's makefile). When I add code to check_mem_region(...) and
request_mem_region(...) on the DIO pins, I am able to compile
successfully. However, when i try to insert my module in the debian-
sarge 2.4.26-ts11 kernel, I receive the following error message:
module.o: error reading ELF section data module.o: No space left on
device
I changed Andy's Makefile to point to my linux-src and cross-compiler
and to my cpu architecture (-march=armv4t) option in the Makefile as
well. Does anyone know what can cause this type of error? If you need
code, let me know and I can post it. Thanks,
Yas
