Hello,

I got the crosstool working (used the GCC 4.0.1 / GLIBC 2.3.5 on the
dev kit CD).

However, the libraries on the USB stick are much older then the one on
the crosstool. How should I update the libraries ? GLIBC and GCC...

Debian 3.0(Woody) is loaded on the USB stick, Debian uses glibc 2.2.5.
All of there binaries are compiled against glibc 2.2.5. Debian
3.1(Sarge) is also available here
ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-linux-cd/distributions/debian-sarge-256MB-05-01-2006.tar.bz2.
Debian 3.1 uses glibc 2.3.2. I believe Yan Seiner posted a Complete
Build System
http://www.seiner.com/ts7000/index.php/Complete%20Build%20System

Simply put I've ported the env on my linux desktop... however, how do
I make my binaries work on the 7250 ?

A much easier solution would be to use a crosscompiler that has the same
version of glibc that Debian supports.

Which is downloadable from TS's site.

Sarge - ftp://ftp.embeddedarm.com/ts-arm-linux-cd/cross-toolchains/crosstool-linux-gcc-3.3-glibc-2.2.5.tar.bz2
