I'm having the same problem that Pete reported, only I'm seeing it on
a TS-7400 with Debian on a SD card. I can get dhcp working if I boot
to TSLinux in the onboard flash. But when I boot to the SD Debian I
can't get dhcp working. I can get the network up with a static IP, but
when I change /etc/network/interfaces to dhcp, pump is failing with an
uninformative "Operation failed".
I've done some web searching and have seen people reporting this kind
of problem because they didn't have the af_packet kernel module
loaded, but I've checked and /etc/modules does contain af_packet, and
lsmod confirms that it's loaded.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Keith Hearn
