[ts-7000] need a small help ??!

hi every body
I'm new in using embedded arm devices
I have ts-7260 to use it in robotics and control systems so ...
I wanna know som things just in points to clarify the idea of how to use this device
 
1-Is there any document have a full explanation of how to use ts-260 and every thing about it ???
 
2-should I install linux on it or it come with linux installed on it ??
 
3-Is it possible to put c++ compiler in the system and use it like my pc ???
 
4-How can I access the ports on the dvice like ( rs-232 , usb , i/o ) is it through the known APIs like the PC or it has its own driver ?? and is it installed or I have to get them ??
 
5-when I want to do a task on it I should write my file on the pc firist and then download it on it or it connected to PC and I write on it or what ???
 
6-which prephirals should I buy with it ???
