I have my system setup using an NFS share to another linux box, so I
am compiling on the 7300. I know a little slower, but from the
errors I know what libraries and files I need to add.
I had to do a couple of apt-get's for some needed development
libraries, plus figure out what options to disable when doing
the ./configure command.
I have it working, with the autoipd, when I manually start each
app. I'm working on getting it all to work automatically at bootup.
I'm keeping detailed notes of what files I add/copy/modify so I can
repeat the process. Once I get it all fully documented, I will
share with the group, and people can point out where I may have made
mistakes.
I've picked up a contract job to make the 7300 LXI standards
compliant (http://www.lxistandard.org/). If there is anyone else
out there working toward the same end, it would be great to hear
from you.
Jim
