I seem to remember that the driver still needs porting. USB support in particular is far better than 2.4, which is what made me switch. I had to switch from devfs to udev, which required a new busybox, but the root FS from TS largely worked (with a fair bit of tweaking). I can definitely recommend 2.6.17 from kernel.org + the patch at http://www.wantstofly.org/~buytenh/ep93xx/derevo19.diff Andrew.
